Online Therapy in Seattle, Washington
You’ve tried going it alone. You’ve told yourself if you just try a little harder, wait a little longer, things will get better. But they haven’t. Therapy can help.
Hi, my name is Lauren!
I’m Dr. Lauren Koch, a licensed psychologist in Washington state. I provide online therapy in Seattle and across the state of Washington. I also offer in-person services in my Spokane office.
I work with adults in the aftermath of trauma, adults with combat PTSD, and high achieving adults who are experiencing anxiety.
Becoming a psychologist in Washington state.
I became a psychologist because I know what it’s like to feel hurt and alone, without a clear sense of how to move forward. While I may not share your exact experiences, you’ll find that I can still connect to your pain. I’ve spent the last 10 years helping people learn how to move through difficult experiences and cultivate meaningful, joyful lives.
What does therapy look like?

My Approach to Therapy
As a psychologist, my approach to therapy varies to meet your individual needs. My training included psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, both of which I use regularly in mental health treatment. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when working with high achieving adults with anxiety. I am also a certified Prolonged Exposure therapist—one of the gold-standard treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and combat PTSD.
